Documentation of registers

The ECONAU data managers maintain a documentation for users of the ECONAU project database. The purpose of the documentation is to provide crucial information about the registers that is often difficult to find. The documentation currently covers the most widely used registers. 

ECONAU documentation

The documentation will continuously be expanded with new registers and new information over time. The purpose of the ECONAU documentation is to provide documentation particularly relevant for ECONAU users. The ECONAU documentation should be viewed as a complement to the documentation provided by Statistics Denmark.

The new documentation contains essential information such as:

• Register data reference date/year
• Renaming of variables i.e. link between Statistic Denmark and ECONAU variable name when a difference exists
• Data breaks
• Links to special notes or in-depth documents from Statistics Denmark or other external sources
• Developments or changes in data sources

• The complete list of registers and variables contained in the ECONAU project database
• All registers available at Statistics Denmark (DST) (not necessarily in the ECONAU project database)
