HoD News - 22 June

Dear colleagues,

Teaching and exam activities are almost at an end, and I hope that all colleagues will be able to slow down over the coming weeks and enjoy the summer break. The spring semester has been a challenging time for our department. Difficult decisions have had to be made, and I know that this will affect the department, both on an individual level and collectively as a workplace, for some time.

These days we await the political decision announcement regarding the educational landscape, including a possible dimensioning and a likely cut of length of some master’s educations. The contents are still unknown, but I expect that some educations will be affected in one way or the other and that it will require hard work to adjust to this.

I look forward to seeing you again when we start the autumn semester. Remember that the Department will be hosting the annual Friday get-together on 25 August. A save-the-date has already been sent to your Outlook calendar. More information and how to register will follow soon.
