Ombudsman

The department has chosen to have an Ombudsman. An Ombudsman may not be part of the management team. Integrity is an important parameter when choosing the ombudsman, and also only a person who is highly respected among faculty and staff can act as Ombudsman. A department member may contact the Ombudsman if the department member has a reason to suspect that the management of the department is not done in a proper manner. To fulfill the role of Ombudsman he/she may always participate in the meetings of the management team and other relevant fora. He/she can obtain access to the information which is given to the head of department.
