Quick rescheduling of cancelled exam

On Friday last week, the Marketing Management exam had to be cancelled, and yesterday the students were notified that they have the option of retaking the exam on Sunday 1 June from 9:00-12:00.

“It was very important for us to find a new exam date as quickly as possible, and luckily we succeeded. Hopefully, the fact that we were able to reschedule the exam so quickly will make things easier for the students and reduce the inconvenience this has caused,” says vice-dean for education Peder Østergaard.

Human error
The suggested exam answers for the Marketing Management exam were uploaded by mistake to the digital exam system, which meant they were also made available to the students. Consequently, the exam had to be cancelled just a few minutes before it was set to begin. It should be noted that the cancellation was due to a human error, not technical problems with the new digital exam system WISEflow.

“It’s a very unfortunate mistake, and we would like to extend our regrets to the students. The error has of course given us food for thought about how to improve the procedure for uploading documents to the system – in order to prevent anything like this from happening again,” emphasises Peder Østergaard.

All students are registered to take a rescheduled exam.
All students who were meant to take the cancelled exam have automatically been registered to take the rescheduled exam on Sunday 1 June from 9:00-12:00 at Fuglesangs Allé 4.

Please note: If you fail to sit the exam on Sunday, it will not count as an examination attempt.
