Top ten in econometrics

This year, a group of four PhD students from the Department of Economics and Business Economics ranked among the ten best participants at Econometric Game, the world championship in econometrics.

Flexible teaching and study environments, good use of space, architectural qualities and sustainable technical solutions. These are the cardinal elements in the joint proposal from A. Enggaard A/S, AART Architects, LYTT Landscape and NIRAS, who have won the contract to develop buildings and outdoor areas for Aarhus BSS in the University City.

Phishing emails in circulation: Do not open attached file

Phishing emails are currently in circulation and the sender pretends to be Aarhus University. The email is primarily sent to people outside AU and the purpose is to entice the recipient into opening an attached file that may infect the recipient’s computer with a virus. Renewed request for expert group

The government has once again requested assistance from the economic expert group consisting of Torben M. Andersen, Michael Svarer and Philipp Schröder. They are to present their recommendations for phasing out the bailout packages.

Information security: The yellow banner in your inbox will be removed

The yellow warning banner at the top of mails to AU employees from external senders will have a short life. AU IT has decided to remove it on the background of negative reactions from many employees. It’s still important that we’re all alert to the dangers of phishing mails.
