How long have you been employed at the Department of Economics and Business?
I have been employed for nearly three months.

What is your background?
I hold a BSc in Business Administration and a MSc in Finance from Aarhus University, School of Business and Social Sciences.

What are your main areas of research?
My main research areas are located within asset pricing and empirical finance. I have recently initiated a joint project on the forecastability of US recessions.

What do you expect will be the biggest difference between being a PhD student and being a regular student?
I think the biggest difference will be the ability and challenge to develop and try out my own ideas as well as getting valuable feedback.

What was your first impression of the department and your new colleagues?
My first impression was very good. There is a very friendly atmosphere and everybody seems to be extremely talented.

What do you do when you are not at work?
When I am not working, I like spending time with friends and going for the occasional run.
