The 10th anniversary of NEM2019 will be held at the Stockholm School of Economics on 23-26 May 2019. The conference is open to both theoretical and applied econometricians from all countries working in a broad range of fields, including (but not limited to) macroeconomics, financial economics, international economics, industrial organization, labour economics, health economics and spatial economics.

A central theme for the NEM2019 is “Nonlinear Time Series Econometrics,” and the keynote speakers are:

  • Timo Teräsvirta: Professor Emeritus of Econometrics, Aarhus University (CREATES), and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (CASE)
  • Dag Tjøstheim, Professor Emeritus of Statistics, University of Bergen
  • Robert Taylor, Professor of Financial Econometrics, University of Essex

A PhD training school on “Nonlinear Time Series Analysis and Forecasting” will precede the meeting and will be lectured on May 22-23, 2019 by: Jan G. De Gooijer, Emeritus Professor of Economic Statistics, University of Amsterdam.

Deadline for submissions: March 17, 2019.
